Marrickville Library study rooms

Marrickville Library has plenty of study space on three floors. There are also three rooms available on the ground floor and three rooms on the first floor with accessible Wi-Fi and power supply.

Terms and conditions

  • Rooms are limited to one person per room, while social distancing requirements are in effect
  • Study rooms are available for bookings by library members only, up to a maximum of 2 hours daily
  • Bookings maybe made up to three days in advance
  • Patrons must check in as the service desk on the ground floor to confirm bookings
  • Last booking of the day ends 30 minutes before the library's closing time
  • Unclaimed bookings will be cancelled if more than 15 minutes late
  • Rooms must be left tidy
  • For private or study use only, not for paid lessons, workshops or other commercial activity
  • Users must adhere to the Library User Guidelines

Computers at Inner West Libraries

A limited number of computers across all library branches include access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and more. User guidelines

Leichhardt Library meeting room

  • Current COVID Capacity: 7 people
  • Two hours free parking is available in The Italian Forum car park
  • Disabled entrances - Ramp into The Italian Forum enter from Norton Street, from The Italian Forum car park
  • Small equipped kitchen; you must provide your own refreshments and food
  • Toilets located in The Italian Forum
  • Equipment - tables, chairs, internet connection, computer projector, white board and flip chart
  • Please note the IT equipment in the room is PC compatible only; it is recommended that data be saved in this format preferably on either CD or a memory stick (USB).

Balmain Library meeting room

  • Current COVID Capacity: 7 people
  • Street parking only – mostly metered
  • Disable entrances - Balmain Town Hall has full disabled access
  • Small equipped kitchen; you must provide your own refreshments and food
  • Toilets located in the library or additional public toilets are part of the Town Hall Complex
  • Equipment - tables, chairs, wall mounted LCD TV screen
  • Hire rates apply
