Vehicles and parking

Please Note: Requests for abandoned vehicles can only be taken when ALL the following criteria has been met:

  1. Vehicle has been stationary for over four weeks
  2. Vehicle appears forsaken, eg cobwebs
  3. Vehicle is not registered

To confirm if a vehicle with NSW plates is unregistered, go to the MyRTA website. You can also check plates from the following states and territories: ACT, Victoria and Queensland.

Anonymous reports

Should you elect to submit this request anonymously Council may be unable to follow up on this request. If there is not enough information for us to action this request, it will be closed without further action.

Notifications

Notification is currently available on lodgement and completion for all requests. Council can provide notifications via Email or SMS using contact details provided by the customer at the time of submitting the request.  Notification by Postal Address is not currently available

Progress updates are not currently available. To monitor the progress of your request, please use the Inner West Council 'track a request' function with the request tracking number provided in the notification received upon initial lodgment of your request.

If you do not wish to receive notifications, please deselect the notification options below prior to submitting your request.
