Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre Stage 2 construction

The outdoor 50m and dive pool are now closed as part of Stage 2 construction works.

Ashfield Aquatic Centre gym reopening Friday 11 September

We are pleased to announce an early reopening following the successful installation of our brand new Life Fitness equipment. Group fitness classes will also return to our regular timetable from Friday 11 September. Visit out group fitness timetable page to book a class today.

We offer programs and facilities for every stage of your fitness journey. Our three major centres are open year‑round and include gyms, pools, and crèches. Spa, steam, and sauna facilities are available exclusively at Ashfield Aquatic Centre. Two seasonal venues and a waterplay park operate during summer for outdoor swimming and recreation.

Programs include Learn to Swim classes, squad training, over 300 weekly group fitness classes, personal training and specialised wellbeing activities. Whether you’re a lap swimmer, a family looking for a fun day out, or just want to stay active and connected, Inner West Aquatics and Recreation have a space for you.

Creche

Our creches allow you to use facilities within our major Aquatic Centres while your children are cared for by professional and friendly staff. All staff hold current Working With Children Checks and First Aid qualifications.
