Christmas Window Competition
Council held a Christmas window display competition in December 2025.
Local businesses were encouraged to decorate their shopfronts with dazzling displays to celebrate the festive season. Customers were invited to vote for their favourite Christmas window display. Many businesses created elaborate displays featuring traditional Christmas elements such as lights, nutcrackers, candy canes, Christmas trees and garlands which helped transform retail streets into vibrant, must-visit festive destinations.

685 people voted in the competition. Every person that voted automatically went into the draw to win a $250 gift card. There were 11 winners of the gift cards.
