The Inner West is rich with local community groups who contribute to the life of the area. Joining a group is a great way to meet people and make a difference to the Inner West.

Friends of Callan park

For more than 20 years, FOCP has resisted attempts to privatise Callan Park. As a result, the community has 61 hectares of open space for many activities. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6.30pm. Currently (2021) meetings are held on line. See our website for details. History and heritage 

Greenway Parkrun

Inner West Tool Library

The Inner West Tool Library is a volunteer run not for profit and has been set up to allow the community to access hundreds of tools and other useful things for a fraction of the usual cost. It's just about borrowing things instead of buying them; sharing resources and using them more efficiently.  Environment and sustainability
