Gym will be open until 7pm

Trans and gender diverse community and allies are invited to enjoy free exclusive use of Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre on Sunday 28 August between 2-6pm.
You will have access to all indoor heated pools and children’s splash pool. Our café will be open for refreshments. Venue is wheelchair accessible, sensory (quiet) space available on site.
Friends, partners and families are all welcome - simply relax, connect with community or join our aquarobics class!

COVID-19 information

  • Masks are not mandatory, however masks are still encouraged for indoor settings where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others
  • Maintain 1.5m social distance from staff and other patrons while in our centres
  • Group fitness class bookings are essential and are available 5 days in advance. To view our group fitness timetable and make a booking, please visit our Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre group fitness timetable page.
  • Cashless transactions are preferred

The health and safety of our patrons and staff is our number one priority. If you have any symptoms of illness e.g. runny nose, cough, temperature, fever please DO NOT attend the centre.

Fitness passport

AKAC accepts Fitness Passport for full use of the gym, group fitness classes, and pool entry.  Fitness Passport cannot be used for special fitness programs or squad training.

All Fitness Passport members must present their member card at reception to use the gym or pool facilities.
