RFQ 141-21 Iron Cove Creek Master Plan

Inner West Council invites Requests for Quotes from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the Iron Cove Creek Master Plan to design an accessible walking and low-speed cycling path along the creek corridor between Ramsay Street, Five Dock and Highway Avenue, Ashfield.

The overarching objective of the Master Plan is to identify, cost and prioritise the soft and hard infrastructure required within the Iron Cove Creek. The Master Plan will do this by providing a document including detailed illustrative design plans, written strategies and imagery to illustrate context and character. The document will provide an action plan that is costed and able to be integrated with Council’s forward financial and asset plans. The Master Plan is intended to facilitate commencement of construction within 24 months of completion.

The Iron Cove Creek corridor presents an opportunity for walking and cycling access between parks and recreational facilities located at the Bay Run, Timbrell Park, Reg Coady Reserve, Jeagarow Reserve, Bede Spillane Reserve, Centenary Park, and Ashfield Aquatic Centre as well as a future centre at Kings Bay on Parramatta Road.

  • 1pm: Return to Dulwich Hill via light rail if required

EOI 7-21: The Seasonal Hire of Tempe Reserve

Description: As per the Council resolution of 9 June 2020, Inner West Council is conducting and open Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the use of the upgraded sporting fields at Tempe Reserve.

All seasonal and casual hirers, including all local community sporting clubs and schools, are invited to apply.

The EOI process is now open and closes 10am Wednesday 31 March. No late applications will be accepted.

Tempe Reserve has five (5) new turf fields, one (1) synthetic field and two (2) synthetic cricket wickets.

Fields are expected to be available until 10pm on weekday evenings. A completion date is yet to be confirmed but it is hoped that fields be available late July or early August 2021. The EOI process applies to both future winter and summer season use.

Please read the attached EOI form and Council's Sporting Grounds Allocation Policy thoroughly before applying.

To be considered applicants must have:
• no outstanding debt with Council
• members that reside with the Council LGA
• correctly completed the EOI form and submitted it with relevant supporting documentation as per the Sport Grounds Allocation Policy by the due date
