T21-20: Bedwin Road Bridge Cycleway Extension and Auxiliary Works 

Description: Inner West Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the;

Westconnex M5-St Peters Interchange Active Transport Works-Part 2, Design & Construction (D&C) for the EXTENSION of the Proposed Cycling Bridge at Bedwin Rd, and auxiliary works, St Peters.

The New M5 includes a number of active transport measures including new and improved pedestrian / cycle paths for IWC.

The Mary St to St Peters Station Cycleway (includes the D&C of a cable bridge with cycling infrastructure over the top.

The D&C for the cable bridge as funded by TransGrid, is well underway, and does not form part of this tender

This tender is for EXTENSION ONLY, of the bridge at Bedwin Rd over the railway to be delivered by IWC, funded by WCX/TfNSW)

EOI 5-20: Community Class Provider to deliver Health and Wellbeing Progams in Council Parks

Description: Inner West Council invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced service provider who can deliver a community focussed health and wellbeing program for residents of the Inner West.

These programs represent the trialling of a new delivery model whereby Council will offer in-kind use of its assets (parks, community venues), rather than direct funding, to enable providers to offer community recreation and wellbeing activities. Providers will be able to cover instructor and other associated costs through charging a small amount to attendees.

REOI 03-20: Cooks to Cove Greenway Design and Construction

Description: Inner West Council invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for Cooks to Cove Greenway Design and Construction.

The related works generally comprise design and construction of public parklands and shared paths, including elevated paths and pedestrian tunnels, as well as associated lighting, utility adjustments and landscaping within or adjacent to the Inner West Light Rail Corridor.

Organisations who are successfully shortlisted through this Expression of Interest process will be invited to submit tenders for the work in early 2021.

IWC is to engage a suitably qualified Civil Works construction company, to construct as per the detailed design completed for the four projects as below:

  • Public domain improvement to key North-South Streets perpendicular to Parramatta Road - Rofe Street, Renwick Street, Norton Street, Balmain Road, Catherine Street and Crystal Street, Leichhardt.
  • New cycle connection along Dot Lane (and Parramatta Road as a temporary connection), Leichhardt
  • Conversion of Petersham Street to a Plaza, Leichhardt
  • New North-South pedestrian and cycle connection along Johnstons Creek from Wigram Road to Chester Street,Annandale
