Exercise classes for seniors

Interested in keeping fit and healthy? Join us Tuesday to Friday for classes provided by qualified instructors with the needs of seniors in mind. Classes are available for different levels of fitness, ability and interest. Classes include: Strength and Movement, Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance Remedy and Zumba Gold®. All classes are led by expert instructors.

Yoga

Traditional Hatha Yoga that fosters strength, balance and flexibility. Hatha Yoga is about balancing the body and mind and intended to create change. 'Ha' represents the sun and 'tha' the moon. Hatha classes involve a set of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques. These are typically practiced more slowly than say a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. Our highly experienced yoga instructors Janet, Paul and Keri are deeply committed to modifying activities to suit class participants so that the practice is safe, effective and enjoyable. Suitable for beginners and those with previous yoga experience.
