Strategies and studies

Council has started a strategic land use planning project, Our Place Inner West, to develop a new Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plan (DCP) for the Inner West, supported by a consolidated Developer Contributions Plan.

Council has finalised a Local Strategic Planning Statement to guide the preparation of the Local Environment Plan and Development Control Plan.

The following evidence-based studies and strategies, along with the Local Strategic Planning Statement and place-based studies currently being developed, will help inform the next iteration of the LEP, DCP and consolidated Developer Contributions Plan:
