Lunar New Year marks the beginning of a new year on lunar calendars, and is celebrated by Central and South-East Asian diaspora all over the world.

Inner West Council is partnering with local community groups and artists for two weeks of cultural celebrations in Ashfield and Marrickville.  Celebrate the Year of the Horse by participating in a cultural exchange spanning Chinese, Indonesian, and Vietnamese cultures.

All are welcome to participate. With the year of the horse associated with vitality and energy, there is no better time to reconnect with a familiar culture or expand your horizons with an unfamiliar one.

Events will be free to attend, with some requiring prior registration.
