E-waste and chemicals events

Council's Community Recycling Centres and Weekend Transfer Station are open  

The Leichhardt and St Peters Community Recycling Centre and the Leichhardt weekend transfer station will resume normal operating hours from Saturday 18 September. Please wear a mask and remain in your vehicles at all times (Covid safety) when using these facilities.

Council operates a weekend transfer station for the disposal of waste and recycling of Inner West Council residents. Proof of residence is required.

Address: 50-54 Moore Street, Leichhardt
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 7:45am - 11:30am, 1pm - 3:45pm

Community Recycling Centre – St Peters

Address: 15-17 Unwins Bridge Road, St Peters (entry at rear, through Bolton Street)
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 8am - 1pm
