Marietta Gallery The IWC Public Art Map features six outdoor art trails with a range of public artworks for your enjoyment. Public art makes a valuable contribution to an enlivened and vibrant locality, by complementing and building on the unique qualities of our streetscapes and town centres. Marietta Gallery This gallery is named after Marietta Ballini who during her life worked tirelessly to support Italian immigrants and their families. In 1979 Marietta formed the group Pensioner’s and Friend’s Group of Leichhardt (Gruppo Pensionati Italiani e Amici di Leichhardt) , to assist elderly Italians, and was the President up until her death.
