Ang Collins

Ang Collins was an artist in residence at Whites Creek Cottage in 2021-22.

Ang Collins is a playwright and multidisciplinary artist working in the theatre and performance space.

Ang will be working on a series of short and full-length written and performed works all of which centre around the intersections of contemporary life and the climate crisis in Australia. She will be working on her play NATURISM, which is a comedy commissioned by Create NSW and Griffin Theatre Company about a commune of naturists living off-grid on the south coast of NSW. She will also be working on short and collaborative works that explore the climate crisis through the performance and screen mediums, developing a Screen Australia-supported adult animation about life in the Inner West — SINGLE — and continuing her sustainable theatre advocacy work through Sustainable Theatres Australia and Bump Out Sydney.
