Business chambers and associations

Inner West is home to a number of business chambers and associations.   These organisations work with a range of stakeholders to support local enterprises and advocate on their behalf.


ASHBiz is the Business Chamber representing the local business community in Ashfield, Summer Hill, Haberfield and parts of Croydon, providing members with an opportunity to come together to discuss the local business environment and to look at ways to enhance business sustainability. Chamber meetings help businesses build important new contacts, as well as raise their profile.

Balmain/Rozelle Chamber of Commerce

The Balmain/Rozelle Chamber of Commerce is a forum for business in the Balmain and Rozelle area.

Leichhardt & Annandale Business Chamber

The Leichhardt Annandale Business Chamber (LABC) is the local representative group for businesses located within Leichhardt and Annandale areas.
The chamber produces the renowned Norton Street Italian FESTA each year along with a range of specialised events and business networking opportunities.  It is a strong advocate for the issues facing local businesses and is seeking to expand chamber membership across a broad range of businesses.

Free to join, this association represents all businesses located within the local government area and offers regular business skills workshops

Marrickville Chamber of Commerce

Representing business operators and commercial land owners in the Marrickville Town Centre comprising Marrickville and Ilawarra Roads and the surrounds. The Chamber runs a number of promotions in the heart of Marrickville.

Marrickville Manufacturers Association

The Marrickville Manufacturers' Association represents the thriving manufacturing businesses within the area.  The Association trades under the name Made in Marrickville and seeks to promote the high quality and premium goods produced locally.  

Newtown Precinct

Newtown Precinct includes Newtown, Erskineville, Enmore and parts of St Peters.

Newtown Entertainment Precinct Association

The Newtown Precinct has the highest concentration of independent theatres and live performance spaces in Sydney.  The Newtown Entertainment Precinct Association presents the annual Sydney Fringe Festival


Dulwich Hill Urban Centre Committee

Represents the businesses in the special levy area of Dulwich Hill Village.

Petersham Urban Centre Committee

Represents the businesses in the special levy area of Petersham.
