Free native beehive for interested school

If you would like to see these wonderful bees' structures and perhaps taste their unique honey, head along to a local hive split at Marrickville West Community Garden, Henson Street, Marrickville at 11am Sunday 30 October. The new hive created from the second split will be donated to a local community or school garden looking to establish native bees.

If you’re interested in a native bee hive for your school garden, please get in touch with Kate Jackson (Coordinator Community Sustainability, Marrickville, Inner West Council) by phone 02 9335 2147 or email kate.jackson@innerwest.nsw.gov.au.
