Vacation care programs

Inner West Council's school holiday care services provide a safe, supervised and fun place for your child.

Our programs provide a wide range of creative, recreational and play activities that assist in the social, emotional, creative and physical development of your child.

Our staff plans the program with input from the children attending the centre. Your child will be offered a balance of structured and unstructured activities providing stimulating, enjoyable and safe play opportunities. 

Opening dates and information

Ferncourt & Marrickville West school holiday care programs will be open from 7.00am to 6.00pm daily on the following days:

• Monday, 7 July to Monday, 21 July 2025, inclusive (not open public holidays)

 Important dates for school holiday programs:

• Bookings open via BookMe at 9am Monday, 16 June 2024 and close 5pm Friday, 20 June for first round offers. 

• Monday 23 June 2025 to 20 July 2025 - Bookings can be made via BookMe with 48 hours’ notice, where vacancies exist.

• Last day of Term 2 - Friday, 4 July 

• First day of Term 3 - Tuesday, 22 July

Bookings

From Monday 16th June at 9am, bookings can be made online with the Hubhello platform via BookMe. Download the fact sheet here.

Bookings are not accepted in person at the centres.
