Balmain Town Hall History Tour

Join Helen Carter from the Balmain Association for a historic tour of the Balmain Town Hall and Library. Explore the architecture of E.H. Buchanan and learn about its grand opening in 1888 when the foundation stone was laid by the Mayoress, wife of William Moffitt Burns.

Sandstone Walking Tour

Join local heritage architect and author, Dr Ray Stevens, for a walking tour of Balmain, looking at the construction and history of sandstone buildings around the Balmain peninsula.

The tour will take approximately one hour and begins at Balmain Watchhouse, 179 Darling Street.
