Adults

We currently offer three types of Adult Learn to Swim classes:

  • Beginners
  • Intermediate
  • Stroke correction

The classes run for 45-minutes with our industry-professional instructors to cater to all swimming abilities. The number of students in our learn to swim classes is as follows:

  • Learn to Swim: 7 maximum
  • Stroke Correction: 8 maximum 

Adult learn to swim - beginner

This class is for people who:

  • Are non-swimmers
  • Are unable to exhale under water or put face in water
  • Have no swimming experience
  • Cannot float

Adult learn to swim - intermediate

This class is for people who:

  • Are able to submerge under water
  • Have some swimming experience
  • Can propel through water with a rudimentary breaststroke or freestyle for 5 to 10 metres

Adult stroke correction

 This class is for people who:

  • Are capable swimmers
  • Have basic stroke and breathing skills 
  • Can swim 25 to 50 metres
  • Want to build stamina
  • Want to improve stroke efficiency
