Program description

Council undertakes an annual program of playground renewal and upgrade to ensure playground assets are in good condition and meet safety standards, and to improve play experiences. The NSW Government inclusive play design guidelines Everyone Can Play are implemented where possible.

Kensington Road Playground

  • Description: Remove all equipment and soft fall, and upgrade with new equipment and play spaces.
  • Budget: IWC is spending $1.135M to upgrade five playgrounds across two Council wards.
  • Expected Completion Date: July 2024
