Environment Strategic Reference Group

The purpose of the Environment Strategic Reference Group is to assist Council with matters relating to environment and sustainability.  

The Environment Strategic Reference Group will:

  • Provide input on the development and review of Council policy positions on local and regional strategic environment issues and projects
  • Provide input on long-term strategic policies and action plans on the environment including climate change, energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable development, biodiversity
  • Provide feedback on projects and developments which may impact on the environment
