2018 Dulwich Hill Village Fair

Tuesday, 4 September 2018

Delicious food, live entertainment, a wide range of market stalls and fun for kids – it’s all happening at this year’s Dulwich Hill Village Fair on Sunday 16 September, 10am – 4pm.

Headlining the live entertainment this year is inner west rock band, Fox Company, with their “unapologetic rock and roll”.

Also gracing the main stage:

• Dulwich Hill local, and former EXIT member, singer-singwriter Savvas Piperitis

• Seven piece, all-female musical collective Big Sky Mountain, with their sound that spans gypsy Jazz to alt country with a bit of gospel and a sprinkling of pirate

• Echo Deer, who blend folk, country, blues and bluegrass with sweet, homespun harmonies

• Indie rock band Dande and The Lion

Lots of local school band performances feature at the Kids Play Park. There’ll also be multiple martial arts demonstrations and dance acts including Redfern Dance School, Donna Jean’s Danceforce and Dorothy Cowie School of Dancing.

Also for the kids: Levi the Village Blacksmith, jumping castle, Australia Wildlife Displays and the Magic Yellow Bus.

Loftus Park entertainment includes acoustic performances from younger and emerging artists.

Hungry fair-goers will have a hard choice to make – from paella, to chorizo and prawn rolls, artisan Greek yeeros, African cuisine, gozleme, gelato and more. The diversity of local produce will be celebrated with stalls from Saigon Summer and The General Eatery.

A range of speciality market stalls will offer everything from eco-friendly clothing to handmade jewellery, gifts and locally made artisan products.

Dulwich Hill Village Fair is along Marrickville Road, Dulwich Hill on Sunday 16 September, 10am–4pm, www.innerwest.nsw.gov.au/dulwichhillvillagefair
