EDGE Spaces is an initiative from Inner West Council that aims to animate and enliven the Inner Wests historic Town Halls and other civic spaces.
It encourages the participation of a range of diverse performers and groups, giving the community a range of opportunities that cater to a range of tastes, from the innovative to the traditional.
The program also welcomes artists seeking space to develop new works and ideas and open their development rooms for public.
The St Peters Town Hall has a long history of community and
cultural use, and this program intends to strengthen and continue this
tradition by activating St Peters Town Hall as a cultural and development hub
to provide much needed space-in-kind to artists. The St Peters Town Hall Activation is part of EDGE Sydenham
which runs across the first two weeks of August 2019.
