Stavroula Adameitis

Stavroula Adameitis is an Australian artist known for her bold and bombastic Pop Art fashion designs, neon light artworks and immersive installations working under the alias FRIDA LAS VEGAS.

Inspired by her memories growing up in suburbia during the 1980s and 1990s, Stavroula's FRIDA LAS VEGAS universe remixes nostalgia with a graphic sensibility to create an explosive statement across visual art, fashion, homewares and accessories.

After working in the film and animation industry to pursue her creative practice, Stavroula’s fashion designs have been embraced by pop culture icons including Katy Perry, Sam Smith and Kate Miller-Heidke, as well as a cult following of glamazons worldwide.

No medium is safe from the FRIDA LAS VEGAS haute kitsch aesthetic, whether it be statement fashion, neon-drenched hotel rooms, immersive fine dining experiences or collaborations with iconic brands.

The FRIDA LAS VEGAS mission is to celebrate the signs and symbols of Australia for the world to see, wear, feel and enjoy with generous lashings of humour and heart.

Every slice of FRIDA LAS VEGAS Pop Art paradise is a time-traveling bombastic explosion of fabulousness deigned squarely to inspire and delight.

Stavroula finds endless inspiration in super-saturated colour, fine-tuned memory and the beauty lurking within the every day.
