Current streetscape weed control
Council has made the following map available to residents to indicate areas where weed control herbicide application is currently taking place.
Weed control is currently being undertaken along all road reserves in zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the map:
Broadleaf spraying program in parks and sporting grounds
Council will carry out weed spraying in all of its parks and sporting grounds from 14 August 2023 to 1 November 2023.
Contractors working with Council use Casper Turf Herbicide, a selective herbicide with a low toxicity ranking, for the control of broadleaf weeds including bindii and clover.
