Inner West Council is committed to sourcing renewable energy and addressing climate change. Council is powered by 100% renewable energy from Moree, Hillston and Nevertire Solar Farms in regional NSW.

As well as being 100% renewable, Council aims to be 100% carbon neutral by 2025. Our strategies for addressing climate change include:

  • Sourcing 100% renewable energy
  • Powering our facilities with solar
  • Moving to energy-efficient streetlights
  • Planning for changes in climate
