Where and when Inner West Council, in collaborated with local young people and youth services, to celebrate Youth Week from 11 April to 30 April with a wide variety of activities throughout the Inner West. About Youth Week National Youth Week is an opportunity for young people aged from 12 to 25 years to share ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community, take part in competitions, and have fun!

The Youth Week Working Group are young people aged 12-18. They meet regularly to develop event ideas, participate in event management training and socialise with other young people. They have developed their core values that underpin the way they work together. These values are: Connection Inclusivity, equity and equality Sustainability Take a look at their purpose statement: “To provide fun, inclusive youth orientated events that provide opportunities to build community and bring together people from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds”
