Enmore Early Learning Centre

Note from the Coordinator

Enmore Early Learning Centre provides an education and care service for children between the ages of 0-5 years.

Our service is staffed by a team of educators who strive for excellence in early childhood education and teaching. We place emphasis on creating and providing children and their families with a happy and stimulating learning environment that is able to meet the individual needs of children and their families. We are committed to building strong relationships between educators, children, families and community.

We follow a family grouping philosophy, providing quality care and education with a commitment to upholding the rights of all children. Emphasis is placed on providing children with educators who have the required training, skills and knowledge to facilitate positive outcomes for children and their families. Our educators come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of early childhood qualifications. Our team of educators include three university qualified early childhood teachers as well as Diploma and Certificate 111 Early Childhood Educators. All educators are committed to implementing an innovative play –based curriculum; this curriculum is guided by the Australian Early Years Learning Framework.

As a team we place emphasis on the value and importance of nurturing strong relationships. Educators embrace the importance of planning for the individual and value including families and community in children’s learning. Children are encouraged to learn through play, as they discover, create, improvise and imagine. Our program is play based and individualised, children are provided with the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of learning experiences such as arts, craft, music and movement, science experiments and early numeracy and literacy activities.

We provide children with many opportunities to learn about nutrition and the importance of physical activity and wellbeing. We take pride in providing nutritional meals that are prepared at the service daily.

Our indoor and outdoor spaces are created to support children in developing a strong sense of belonging. The environment supports learning, it is vibrant and flexible and most importantly responsive to the interest and abilities of each child.

Children are provided with a learning environment where they:

  • Feel safe and respected
  • Feel valued as unique individuals
  • Have a strong sense of identity and belonging
  • Are viewed as active participants in decision making
  • Celebrate diversity
  • Make friends and learn to be effective communicators
  • Connect with and care for themselves, each other, community and the natural environment
  • Explore, discover and play creatively
  • Develop a positive attitude to learning
