The Vegetable Plot

5:15pm

Beloved Aussie kids band The Vegetable Plot first sprouted at the 2014 Sydney Fringe, winning the award for Best Children's show. Since then, Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney have travelled all over Australia, playing their funky-fresh tunes and spreading Love and Peas.

Now part of the ABC Kids music family, with multiple international awards, an ARIA nomination and more than 3 million streams on Spotify to their name, The Vegetable Plot has grown into that rare thing: a "kids band" that adults enjoy listening to just as much as the kids.

The Sticker Club

6:15pm

The Sticker Club, who have been playing their own brand of rock and roll for kids of all ages since 2012, have just launched their second album Destination Rock and Roll Station (ABC Kids). The band are Nellie Afford on lead vocals, Nic Dalton on guitar and bass, Ben Whitten on guitar, Damien ‘Dizzi’ Cassidy on Farfisa and bass, Alison Galloway on drums and Ruby Firmstone on guitar and trombone. They won Best Video for I Can Jump Puddles in the 2022 Major Minor Music Awards.

One of the treats that the Sticker Club deliver is their determination to make music that both children and adults will enjoy with their unique brand of 60s-inspired bubblegum pop music (with a healthy dose of wah-wah guitar).
