Maryam Mohabatpour came to Australia with her family seven years ago. She was introduced to Community Refugee Welcome Centre by her friend about a year and half ago.
Since then she has become one of the active participants in various projects at the Centre. Her involvement started a new chapter in her life, where she has had an opportunity to combine her creativity with her skills to develop an enriching life and contribute to society.
In the video below, Maryam shares her story about how she gets involved in activities at the Community Refugee Welcome Centre and how the centre becomes a seedbed for her to start her pickle business.
