Women's recreation activities

Increasing physical activity levels for women is important for overall health and mental wellbeing.

Inner West Council wants to remove the barriers preventing female participation in physical activities by delivering recreation programs for women.

Join Council's Parents Get Active Facebook page for up to date information about our Mums Get Active and Parents with Prams programs.

Mums Get Active

Mums Get Active classes are delivered by qualified, experienced postnatal Pilates instructors who will ensure you train safely after childbirth.

Postnatal Pilates is an excellent choice of exercise as it will strengthen your back and pelvic floor and also repair your abdominal muscles.
