Henson Park Upgrade Works

  • Project description: Inner West Council is investing $700,000 to upgrade Henson Park in line with the Henson Park Master Plan.

Henson Park will remain open for public use excluding the construction works area which will not be accessible to the public during the construction works. Council thanks residents for their patience during the upgrade works.

The works include construction of Henson Park upgrade as follows:

  • Replacement of sports field perimeter fencing.
  • New concrete pathway and lighting from King George V Memorial Grandstand to the Woodland Street entrance.
  • Project address: Henson Park, 22 Centennial Street, Marrickville NSW 2204
  • Progress: Construction works completed. Lighting works completed.
  • Completion date: Completed June 2024
  • Budget: $700,000
