Balmain Town Hall Upgrade

• Project description: 

The heritage Balmain Town Hall building is the home of Balmain Library, and popular community hall and meeting room spaces.  

This upgrade will improve the ground floor library and meeting room areas to bring them up to contemporary design standards. The upgrades will focus on:

• Improving customer experience
• Reviewing the layout of the library and the allocation of spaces
• Building renewal, repairs and compliance works including rectification of water damage and access issues, and painting.

• Progress:
  • Procurement of design and investigation consultants is in progress
