Project Address: Ashfield Aquatic Centre, 160 Elizabeth Street, Ashfield
Project Description: Planned Sun Protection works in 2 stages.
Stage 1:
- Installation of shade cloth to fencing to shield leisure pool - completed
- Installation of shade cloth to fencing to shield creche - completed
- Installation of shade sail to creche garden - completed
- Install shade sail to timber seats near 50m and program pools – completed
- Extend shade sail fitted to existing grandstand structure - completed
Stage 2:
- Relocation of 6 umbrellas from grandstand and 1 from leisure pool – completed
- Erection of temporary shade structure to grandstand – completed
- Removal of temporary shade structure – completed
- Erection of 2 permanent steel structures and shade to grandstand and leisure pool – June 2023
Expected completion date: July 2023
Progress:
- Stage 1 completed
- Stage 2 : Scheduled to be completed July 2023
