Stage One

• Project description: Access upgrade works to main entry and to former caretaker’s residence
• Project address: 107 Crystal Street, Petersham
• Progress:
  • Access upgrade works completed 28 Feb 2021.
  • Roof inspection undertaken and report prepared as a result of leaks in the Hall.
  • Facilities also investigated leaks above stage and repairs of the fire curtain.

Stage Two

• Project description: The project is part of the staged refurbishment of Petersham Town Hall. Works completed to date include the provision of compliant access/egress to the former Caretakers Cottage as well as the upgrade of the front entry treatments at Crystal and Frederick Streets for accessibility with associated landscape improvements.
• Project address: 107 Crystal Street, Petersham NSW 2049
• Progress: Safety and fire audits undertaken, project control group to be formed to assist with delivery strategy. The next stage of works will address access, building and fire compliance items identified in audit reports previously undertaken in consultation with the finalisation of the Master Plan.
• Budget: $540,000
• Expected completion date: Dec 2023
