Apply to be a part of EDGE St Peters Town Hall Activation

Tuesday, 30 April, 2019

The EDGE Town Hall Activation utilises St Peters Town Hall as an experimental and developmental hub during August.

Performers, artists and other groups are encouraged to apply to help strengthen the long history of community and cultural use of St Peters Town Hall, using the space to develop and showcase new works.

The Edge Town Hall activation also encourages artists to open up their spaces for public viewing of their works in progress.

Successful applicants will be offered the use of one of two rooms at St Peter’s Town Hall free of charge, a listing in the EDGE Sydenham program as well as assistance in communications and marketing support.

EDGE Inner West is a rolling series of arts events and activations in 2019. The inaugural event, EDGE GreenWay, attracted thousands of people through various activities and events before the jaw-dropping finale performance by local physical theatre company Legs on the Wall.

EDGE aims to:

• Build community, arts and businesses partnerships

• Engage local artists and diverse communities to express local identity

• Profile the inner west as the creative engine room of global Sydney

EDGE will see Council working collaboratively with the creative sector to develop initiatives, curate programs and produce lasting benefits for the inner west

EOIs for EDGE Inner West Town Hall Activation close Sunday, 12 May 2019.
