Free Sustainable Homes Walking Tour
Inner West Council’s Sustainable Homes Walking Tour will uncover secrets of sustainable design.
The tour, on Sunday 21 May, 10am - 2pm, is of homes in Lewisham and Marrickville.
The tour group will see and discuss:
- Water Sensitive Urban Design
- Verge planting
- Solar PV and solar hot water
- Drought tolerant gardens
- Rainwater tanks
- Hempcrete
- Permaculture gardens
- Passive solar design
- Reverse brick veneer
- Native and honey bees
- Rammed earth wall
- and much, much more…
Please note that the tour group will be walking a total of three kilometres on the day.
