Celebrate the festive season with Christmas carols

Inner West Council invites locals and visitors to enjoy the festive spirit at Council’s upcoming carols in the park events.
With performances from an array of community choirs and bands, plus a few special guests, drop in and join the locals for some of your favourite Christmas carols.
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT AT ASHFIELD PARK
Saturday 9 December 2017, 6pm-9pm, Ashfield Park, Orpington Street, Ashfield
Get in the holiday spirit with 3 hours of classic Christmas carols for the whole family.
Performances from church choirs and musical groups including The Royal Tongan Brass Band, Summer Hill Community Choir, St John’s Cadet Choir and The Acappelicans.
Bible readings will also be given by Reverend Bill Crews, minister of Ashfield parish.
The evening will then be capped off with all groups coming together for a special joint performance of We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Light snacks including coffee and ice-cream will be available in a relaxed picnic style atmosphere.
CAROLS ON NORTON
Sunday 17 December 2017, 7.30pm, Pioneer's Memorial Park, Leichhardt
Come along for an evening of festive cheer, song and celebration at Pioneer’s Memorial Park in Leichhardt.
With the event led by the Artistic Director Michelle Leonard OAM, guest can enjoy performances from Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, the Inner West Children's Choir, Moorambilla Voices – MAXed OUT and Tinsel Orchestra.
Bring the family, friends and a picnic to this free event.
