2017 Dulwich Hill Village Fair

Tuesday 22 August 2017

Delicious food, live entertainment, a wide range of market stalls and fun for kids – it’s all happening at this year’s Dulwich Hill Village Fair on Sunday 10 September.

Headlining the live entertainment this year is The Sax Summit, which features some of Australia's finest young musicians

Also gracing the main stage:

  • Winters End, multi-instrumentalist siblings whose music has been described as 80’s- influenced mixture of indie, pop, and electronic
  • The Lamplighters, with their 1960s soul
  • Popular inner west band The Lemurettes, who combine swing with gritty soul and a new jazz feel
  • Tracing Lines, “Rock with a twist of blues and funk”

Featuring at the Kids Play Park are music acts YuNiOn Taiko Percussion ensemble and Earthbeats Children's Music.

The Kids Play Park will also host Levi the Village Blacksmith, jumping castle, old fashioned garden games, Australia Wildlife Displays, and the Magic Yellow Bus.

Loftus Park entertainment includes acoustic performances from younger and emerging artists and guitarist Mark Williams.

Hungry fair-goers will have a hard choice to make – from paella, to chorizo and prawn rolls, organic beef and pork belly burgers, African cuisine, Portuguese chicken, crepes, and more. The diversity of local produce will be celebrated with stalls from Cornersmith Picklery, Serendipity Ice Cream, and Dulwich Hill Gourmet Meats.

A range of speciality market stalls will offer everything from eco-friendly clothing to handmade jewellery, gifts and locally made artisan products.

Emanuel Tsardoulias Community Library is taking part in the festivities and will be open with a special program of events for the family to enjoy – storytelling, craft workshops, bush tucker demonstration and tasting – or just a place to enjoy a change of pace from the busy Fair streets.

Dulwich Hill Village Fair is along Marrickville Road, Dulwich Hill on Sunday 10 September 2017, 10am – 4pm.
