Marrickville Library and History needs your help

In a bid to increase their picture collection, Marrickville Library and History are calling on residents to submit personal photographs from the 1970s onwards.

With the majority of historical photographs in the collection dating back to the early 1830s, there is a significant gap after 1970. Residents are asked if they could lend their photographs of events, streetscapes, local business, and even characters and street life of the former Marrickville Council, contributing to a lasting public pictorial record.

All donators will receive a naming credit in the historical archives.
