Public Housing Plan for Birds by Angela Robertson-Buchanan

Artist: ArtSeat by Angela Robertson-Buchanan

This work will be on display from 2 September to 2 December 2020

Artist Statement

These are the birds who live in the Inner-west.
When we cut down their trees and build on bushland, they are forced to move.
Imagine if we had a housing relocation initiative! Who would live where, who would like to be neighbours, who would be noisy?!
Please plant up our suburbs and think twice about removing trees un-necessarily.
Our home is their home.
