Certificate of Outstanding Orders and Notices
You can apply to the Council for an Outstanding Notices Certificate if you are concerned there may be Council issues with a particular property.
What is an Outstanding Notices Certificate?
An Outstanding Notices Certificate lists any current or outstanding notices and orders issued by Council in respect of a particular property.
The provisions are contained in section 735A of the Local Government Act 1993 and clause 41 of Schedule 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (formerly section 121ZP).
How to apply for an Outstanding Notices Certificate?
You can apply for a certificate via our online system.
- Log on to the online system using your credentials. If you do not have an account, you must register first.
- Click on 'Enquiries'.
- Click 'Start' on the top option 'Certificates'.
- Find and fill out the form 'Certificate of Outstanding Notices and Orders'.

The Certificate will take around 3-5 business days to process.
