Deborah Little Early Learning Centre

Note from the Coordinator

Deborah Little Early Learning Centre believes in a living philosophy that grows and adapts as the children, families, educators and wider community evolves. When children play, they have opportunities to interact, explore, discover and learn about their relationships with people and the things around them, they are constantly developing their understanding about the world they live in. Children are expanding their discovery and knowledge every time they revisit an activity or experience. Our goals are for children to be confident, capable and reach their full potential.

Our educational program has an important emphasis on ‘play based learning’. With this, we also recognise the importance of early literacy and numeracy as well as the importance of children’s social and emotional development. Our environments are specifically designed with the intentions to foster children’s development across all developmental domains. These intentions are balanced across indoor and outdoor environments of the centre and is embedded within the design of 14 learning areas across the front and middle rooms and 10 learning areas in the Nursery room.
