Note from the Centre Director

Our core values at Tillman Park Early Learning Centre:

  • Offering high quality education and care in an environment that facilitates learning and nurtures relationships between children, families, educators and the community
  • Providing a spacious and inviting education centre with native trees and plants in our Gumbamorra Reconciliation Garden
  • Connecting children with the natural environment and allowing many opportunities for children to navigate their play
  • Promoting a feeling of belonging through the aesthetics and the intentional set up of our two learning environments that encourage engagement and agency
  • Providing a program for a wide range of interests and abilities, which meets the needs of all children
  • Teaching sustainable practices. Recycling, worm farms, compost bins and an established vegetable garden are all daily practices children are engaged in
