Inner West Council proudly supports the diversity of our LGBTQ+ Community.
Each year Council recognises and celebrates the month of Mardi Gras through various events and activities themed 'Feel the Love'. These festivities are organised in partnership with the Inner West Council LGBTQ Working Group.

In 2021, we launched a community film called 'Get to Know Your Neighbour'... see it now if you missed it!
'Get to Know Your Neighbour' features the beautiful members of our Inner West LGBTIQ Community. The feature focuses on the friendships people form despite sexuality, age, race and gender. We encourage the entire community to reach out, connect and support each other, especially during these unprecedented pandemic times.
