Petersham Park

West, Brighton and Station Streets, Petersham

A historic and picturesque park in a quiet part of Petersham.

The cricket oval at the centre of the park is used for cricket in the summer months and baseball over winter. Cricket legend Donald Bradman scored his first century in grade cricket at Petersham Park as an 18 year old.

The Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre, reopened in 2014 after a major refurbishment, features an open-air 25 metre pool, and a splash desk and toddler pool with shade protection. The centre is open annually from the first weekend of October until the end of March.
