Phase 1 Works: Construction 2019 (outlined in red on plan below)
- Conversion of existing basketball court to three multi-purpose courts with reversible netball / basketball goals
- New bike racks and bins
- New planting and landscaping
- New water refill/dog bowl station
- Realign shared path (temporary path) adjacent to Hawthorne Canal
- Removal of existing path next to road
- New fencing between edge of courts and new shared path
- Removal of one fitness station
- New trees
Future Works - Funded (outlined in blue on plan below)
- 2020; New shared path and lighting as part of the GreenWay Master Plan works
- 2022; New public toilet

Improving Parking
- Existing parking spaces along Hawthorne Parade will be lined marked to improve parking efficiency
- Parking and traffic conditions will be reviwed six months after the courts are opened for use
Access to Courts
- The facilities will be hard surface
training courts with bookings available during week day afternoons
and evenings
