Council urges: Share the Path, Share the Road

Inner West Council’s Share the Path and Share the Road campaigns will educate and increase awareness of safe and responsible riding, walking, and driving.

Council officers will be out about at selected shared paths around the inner west, offering free bicycle tune ups, while at the same time educating and increasing awareness about important shared path behaviour such as:

• Considering other path users
• Keeping left unless overtaking
• Riding at an appropriate speed
• Ringing the bell when passing other users
• Moving off the path if stopped

•  Buruwan Park, Annandale, Tuesday 6 June, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
• Lilyfield Road Bridge, Lilyfield, Tuesday 13 June, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
• King George Park, Rozelle, Tuesday 20 June, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
