Proposed grant of easement over part of Darrell Jackson Gardens

Council is the registered owner of Darrell Jackson Gardens, 127-129 Smith Street, Summer Hill, which is classified community land. In accordance with requirements of the Local Government Act 1993, Council gives notice that it proposes to grant an easement over part of Darrell Jackson Gardens.

An easement is a permanent right to access and use land but only for the purposes specified in the written document creating the easement.

The proposed easement site is at the rear of 74 Carlton Street, Summer Hill and will affect Council land identified as part Lot 1 in Deposited Plan 717782 and part Lot 2 in Deposited Plan 1009898.

The easement will be granted in favour of Iglu No. 210 Pty Ltd as trustee for Iglu Property Trust No. 210.

The purpose of the easement is to allow Iglu to connect stormwater drainage to the existing Sydney Water pipes that run through Darrell Jackson Gardens.
