Current work and inspiration

For ‘Moving through time - Celebrating the Leichhardt Wanderers’, is an innovative art project that explores and recognises the anniversary of 110 years of the Leichhardt Wanderers Junior Rugby Leagues Club. Working with the medium of Photography and with historical and contemporary portraits, the series of photographs will showcase the extensive and impressive community engagement the club has provided over the decades. The photographs will feature composite layering using digital software and the Cyanotype Process.

"I have been working with the Cyanotype print process it originates from the nineteenth century and gives a distinctive prussian blue colour - it uses UV light and light sensitive chemistry to create images.

I am always trying to engage my audience through connection with nature and environment.

Paola will be working on location at the Leichhardt Wanderers Rugby League Club from 16 April - 9 May 11am - 5pm for Edge Art Camp on the GreenWay 2021.
