Artworks to see during National Reconciliation Week 2025

This National Reconciliation Week, take the time to visit some outstanding murals created by Indigenous artists as part of the Perfect Match street art program.
The newest is Deslyn Marsh’s vibrant work on the Heart Research Institute building at 7 Eliza Street, Newtown.

Titled 'Banyar Dulguh' (“Healthy Heart”) in Minjungbal Bundjalung language, this artwork embodies unity, healing, and the pursuit of better Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes, particularly in cardiovascular care.

Created in collaboration with Elders from the Institute’s Djurali Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research, it symbolises a space where traditional Indigenous wisdom and modern medicine merge.
